A damaged roof is
Serious business
Even the most seemingly inconsequential damage can lead to major problems if left unattended. The most common symptom of a damaged roof is a leak inside the property, or water damage to the walls. However, there are many causes for these easily-recognised symptoms.
As a consequence,
roof repairs are more than
Simply readjusting a slipped roofing tile. Repairing your roof requires diagnostic skills to spot the problem as well as technical aptitude to fix it. Fortunately for our customers across North London and Hertfordshire, AM Roofing has an ample supply of both.
Whatever damage your
roof has sustained
We can have our crack team of roofers with you when you need them. Operating from our twin offices in Hertford and Enfield, they cover a twenty-five mile radius across the region. This takes in our valued customers in Barnet, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Stevenage, and beyond.

Missing, slipped, and cracked tiles
Of all the roof repairs we perform, this is the most common. Many things can cause roofing slates to become misaligned, damaged, or missing altogether. The odd slate on its own is not a huge concern, but left unresolved, it weakens those tiles around it. At AM Roofing, we carefully repair or replace these slates and check the surrounding ones.

Attic-space condensation
As you know, hot air tends to rise through the house. When that hot air meets the cold atmosphere of your attic space it results in condensation. Most of the time, this is not an issue, as there is ample ventilation for the moisture to evaporate. Continued dampness in the loft suggests insufficient ventilation through the roof or soffits.
Blocked guttering and drainage
Water damage is not always caused by leaks. A blocked gutter or drainpipe can lead to water backing up in your drainage system. Once the guttering overflows, the water cascades down your walls causing serious damage. In severe cases, this overflow can seep into your roof timbers, potentially weakening them to the point of collapse.
